Out of a Fairy Tale

We got in late yesterday because we went to Château de Chenonceau.  Mom had wanted to take us to a son et lumière show because she had fond memories of it from her earlier trip to France.  We arrived too late to tour in the daylight, so we ate dinner until about 9:40 pm.  After dinner we went back to the Château, there were lights everywhere, it was beautiful!  I said if I'm ever rich enough, I would buy up the Château and make it a hotel.  Traveller's with mobility concerns will be pleased to know that this Château has a huge accessible bathroom.  Also, all of the grounds were accessible and there was a ramp up to the Château doors. For anyone who has never been to a son et lumière, I highly recommend it.  Today is our last day and night in Loches.  We are going to a regional festival tonight in a nearby town - More to say on that later.
